I'm a sweet, friendly girl who just happens to be FIV positive but I don't let that define me. I'm in search of my forever home and a family to love and call my very own. I know FIV probably sounds scary if you don't know much about it so here are some facts.
FIV is one of the most common infectious diseases among cats. In North America, around 3-5% of healthy cats are FIV-positive.
The virus primarily passes through deep bite wounds from an infected cat—the type of bites that occur during aggressive fights, not playful interactions.
The virus is cat-specific and can’t spread to other species, including humans.
Studies found that an FIV diagnosis wasn’t associated with decreased lifespans. In fact, cats can remain asymptomatic for years or even their entire lives.
If you have indoor-only cats [who] are fixed, the chances of them getting into a fight—especially with tooth penetration—is extremely minimal, to the point that most veterinarians would not discourage someone from having an FIV-positive cat in their home with other cats.
Sharing household items (such as toys, food bowls and litter boxes) and grooming each other has not shown to be an efficient route of spreading the virus.

This beautiful long-haired calico is Kali. She is 6 years old. She adores people and being petted. She is not a fan of other felines and not good with small children. She is hoping to be the queen of the castle in her new home!

Onyx is a very sweet and shy girl. It takes her a little time to warm up to people but when she does she loves to follow and be around you. She is sensitive to loud/unknown noises and doesn’t like to be held. With positive reinforcement and some help she has gotten so much better! She doesn’t seem to mind other animals and loves to look out the window.. She loves scratches behind the ears and on the butt. We are not sure of her age, but she’s definitely at least middle-aged or older. Please give Onyx a chance to be your new best friend!

Meet Drake. He is a kitten with buff and white fur, playful with his siblings and a sweet, affectionate nature. He’s always eager to explore his surroundings, chasing after toys or anything that moves. Despite his lively personality, Drake loves curling up in a cozy spot for cuddles when he’s done playing. His combination of curiosity and warmth makes him a joy to have around, and he’s sure to bring smiles wherever he goes!

Tulip is full of personality and about 2 years old. She is shy of new people and needs some time to settle in. Once she is comfortable, she is talkative and attention-seeking. She will give head bumps and will want pets from her person. Tulip likes her space and gets along with cats that respect that. She is scared of dogs and kids. Tulip prefers a quiet home that she can be comfortable in. She doesn’t like to be picked up, but once she’s used to her person, she will allow them to hold her. She’s a shy girl with a little spicy side but also sweet too. Tulip does great with her family after she acclimates to her new home.

My name is Lilly. I am a senior kitty with big, beautiful eyes! I look like a chonk but won't eat you out of house and home. I sometimes have RBF, but I promise, I am a nice girl. I am not very active and love sleeping on my foster mom's desk while she works around me. I sometimes his at my foster sister but never tried to hurt her. I love attention but really don't like to be held and may fuss if you try. My human died and I need a new one to live out the rest of my years.

My name is Callie and I lost the only home I ever knew through no fault of my own. I am an older girl and looking for my forever family. I am sweet but may hiss at other animals because I am scared. I love to remind you when it's time to eat and petting is my favorite.

She does like to try to get out the door, but it's not safe for cats to be outside so she needs to be reminded that she stays inside.
